I can download the application but when the installer comes up its just a black box that does nothing.

Hi Andy!

I have the same problem, and it is a recurring one. It seems that ALL of Adobe updates simply open up an empty screen. And when I close the empty, inert box, it opens up an empty IE that is pre-crashed with an adobe adress. It has been like this for ages. It takes about 4-5 hours to find a link that actually updates the programs, so Firefox doesn't complain about unsafe plugins. Nothing "automatic" works, and all the manual attempts end in blank screens.

I use W7 and Firefox.

Hi,

Did you move the installer file from one machine to another, or from one location on the file system to another? If so, please try the following:

Right-click on the installer file and select Properties
In the General tab click the Unblock button
Click Apply
Click OK to close the window
Double-click on the installer file to launch the installer
