Hello,

i am using Secunia PSI software

Picture in attachement displays programs that the Secunia PSI has detected on my computer  for which there are known security updates available. They recommend, that you  update or uninstall all programs listed there. ...

Adobe Flash Player 9.x (General Plug-in)
This installation of Adobe Flash Player  9.x (General Plug-in) is insecure and potentially exposes  your system to security threats!

Secunia strongly recommends that you  update this program by installing the update that is provided by the vendor of  this program.

c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS4\browser\plugins\NPSWF32.dll

c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CS4\NPSWF32.dll

c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Device Central  CS4\Required\Opera\program\plugins\NPSWF32.dll

I have got Photoshop CS4 and Acrobat 9 Pro

Could you tell me how can i solve this problem? I have installed the newest flash player form your adobe website and but everything is still same

Best Regards,

Martin

Since you have the new version installed you don't have anything to worry about. By default, programs will use the files located in the system32-folder first and only resort to using the files in their plug-in folders if the file in question is not in the windows system32-folder. So if the files in the system32 folder are the most recent then you're ok.

Did Secunia PSI also point out

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll ?

This is where Flash Player is installed.  All other instances are other Adobe products, for which you may have to obtain security updates.

Secunia PSI did not point out C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll

should i try overwrite other three files by this one?

I don't think that's a good idea; there is a big chance that it may create compatibility problems.

What are these other products?  They are probably some Flash creation tools?  Can you try to check for security updates for these products?  That should get you the latest available plugins.
