Omegle Trouble, Flash Detection, All the Trouble.

Good afternoon forum participants. Once again it seems as though Adobe Flash Player is on the fritz in terms of recognizing applicable devices. I have tried to connect my webcam to the video chat website Omegle using various browsers. I am frustrated beyond belief at the fact that even though your website says that Flash is integrated into Microsoft Edge, and offers a simple enabling practice, the whole process still ceases to work and I am still left with a disable flash player. Not exactly sure where to go from here as the webcam works well fine on a few other applications. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. I have been all over the net, I've disconnected my modem, I've updated the drivers, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the hardware, I've even disabled and enabled the usb ports. Hopefully someone has something that will help.

Flash Player asks the browser for a list of the cameras that you have.  If the camera isn't listed, it's because the browser isn't exposing it.

Edge doesn't really exit -- it's always running in the background, which is an optimization for making it start quickly.  If you're randomly attaching a camera, there's a good chance that Edge isn't picking it up because it didn't see the camera existed when it launched.

If you restart the machine with the camera attached, does the camera show as available?
