OSX Leopard Flash 9: Black blocks behind letters in some Flash content?

I've just finished installing Leopard on my 15" MacBook Pro and was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with Flash 9 already installed. Unfortunately, the Scrabulous app has black blocks rendering behind the almost-black text now, and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Here's a link to an image of what it looks like: Black Blocks of Text

What I've tried:

- Installing the flash player from Adobe's site (same version, but .1 MB smaller than the one that comes with Leopard)
- viewing in FireFox 2.0.0.8
- viewing from another account on this computer
- reinstalling Leopard

None of these things seems to address this issue. Anyone else had the same problem? Anyone know of a solution/ workaround?

    Hi rhithyn,

Have you tested this with the beta version:

    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer9/

If you still see the black boxes with this version, I would like to open a case for you. Send me a private message with your full name and contact info.
