Performance Problem on Windows 10 after latest Update

I'm having the exact problem using all browsers.

using Windows 10  version 1607 build 14393.187

Upgraded to the latest flash player 23.0.0.162

The browser I use most are Google Chrome 48, Firefox 48.0.2 and Pale Moon 26.4.2, however the problem exist with Edge as well.

Compared to the previous version this current version is extremely slow (almost to a crawl), I have uninstall and reinstalled Flash a few times plus I have restarted my computer and few times. Any help is appreciated.

    Yeah, nothing obvious is jumping out at me. 

    Chrome is on M53 at this point, and we tend to sync changes with them (in a world where all major browsers update on 4-6 week cycle (which pins us to 4-week cycles), we're always targeting the latest available version of the browser and Flash for testing.  Mismatches might not play well, nor would we target a fix to an old Chrome version (or vice versa).  Nothing jumps out at me immediately, but updating Chrome isn't a bad plan in terms of easy things to try...

    I've done a lot since our last message.

    After further testing and using other browsers, my thoughts are now.

    My main browser of choice, Firefox or Pale Moon is extremely slow. However if there is a problem with Flash it shows up on Firefox first and not Chrome. Problem with Firefox is that if I move the mouse on a very CPU intense game, Flash stutters

    Google Chrome, Cyberfox, or any other Chromium browser, Flash is excellent, and perhaps even a tiny bit faster than the last version. Edge I have not tested it yet.

    What I can do when it comes to Firefox.

    P.S Firefox and Flash have never got along with each other that well.

    I will mark this as Correct after attempting to give me advise.

    Try the 64-bit version of Firefox.  They implemented a native NPAPI sandbox there, which is architecturally more efficient than the sandbox we had to bolt on to the 32-bit version.

    If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas beyond using a browser that performs acceptably for you.

    I know that MSI has a lot of tools, however I have not messed with any of them. My drop of performance is noticeable, games are not as smooth compared to the last version, they are playable but again not as smooth.

    I have tested YouTube using flash player.

    Using Flash player on YouTube, I do not see any difference since the last time I used a few years ago, before they recommend HTML5. Performance is very good to excellent.

    I thought of uninstalling the last cummlative update to Windows 10, so I did, resulting in no difference.

    Thanks.  We'd be happy to investigate.

    We have a pretty comprehensive set of performance tests that are run across all platforms with each release, and we're not seeing a huge delta like this, but I've heard anecdotally (but without any actionable detail) from one other reporter that things are slower.

    Can you point me to some specific URLs with steps to reproduce where you're seeing this large performance drop?  Also, can you provide the dxdiag output for your machine?  Instructions are at the bottom of the video troubleshooting guide, below:

    I have a feeling that this is going to come down to something that's hardware specific, which broke with the latest update to Windows 10, or it's tied to a specific non-default configuration with one or more Windows features, which was similarly dinged with the OS update.  Once we can reproduce the issue, attaching a debugger and identifying the source of the problem becomes a straightforward exercise.  Without a reproducible case, it's just guessing and finger-pointing, which isn't necessarily going to result in a satisfactory resolution.

    The issue I have is with games on Facebook. I can not respond to if the problem occurs on YouTube at the present time, but I will see if I have the problems there as well.
