Playing NLOP with Opera

I recently get hooked on playing poker at www.nlop.com

I use windows Vista because I cannot afford to upgrade and it no longer supports chrome.

Firefox is extremely lagging and cause me to lose many hands.

Opera is awesome and lightning fast but I keep getting a "couldn't load plug-in" error message and booted from site

I have re-downloaded all of the plug-ins and enabled them and am allowing pop-ups

I am getting the same "couldn't load plugin" message on the adobe home screen

Any Ideas

P.s. Thank you just for reading this

While this is a bug, and we'll probably get it resolved, the reality is that we're at the end of the line for XP and Vista, and it's time to start saving up for that upgrade.  The basic security mechanisms that keep the web working, and the cryptographic underpinnings that guarantee that the software you install is authentic aren't valid anymore, and it's time to move on.

You can buy a decent Chromebook at this point for ~$250, and a totally decent Win10 laptop will run you $400-450.  While I understand that that's not pocket change, it's far cheaper than what identity theft would cost you, and the Win10 option will give you another 10-15 years of OS support for security patches, as well as modern defenses against malware, etc.

There's a reason that we teach security kids XP and Vista first.  It's because they're super easy to defeat.  If you're doing anything remotely sensitive with that machine (banking, healthcare, etc.), it's way past time to move on to something modern.

For Opera on Vista, this is a known issue.  See XP/Vista: Flash PPAPI plugin 23.0.0.162 doesn't work in Opera and Chromium  for more information.

For Firefox, what version of Firefox do you have?

Is your system 32- or 64-bit?
