please help

I am trying to download flash player 11 and it says cant download application currently in use and i even tried deleting flash player in control panel. I have adobe flash media live encoder 3.1 does that have anything to do with it why why why????

You mention "control panel", so I assume that you are one Windows.

I suggest that you try a clean install as described in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315

then download and run the offline installer(s) from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_header
