please help

Hi ive been breaking my head trying to download flash player because when i try to watch a video including those of youtube, it says i need to have adobe flash player..now when i click install now, it skips the download page and takes me straight to troubleshooting page...the weir thing about it is that is says i do have flash player version 11.3.376.12 and OS Windows 8 (64-bit) and no dubbing. I dont know what else to do...i tried unistalling it but it just doesnt fix the problem..please help!!!
