Hi

Since yesterday (when I installed the updated flash player) I have had a plug in failure message when I try to load a game in safari. The game loads then flashes and I get a black screen with the plug in failure message. I have contacted the game support and they was it is a problem with adobe. How do I fix this issue?

Please look hard!  I play several games and ALL OF THEM have crashed due to "plug in failure" -- none will load when I click the failure notice as directed somewhere.  No plug ins have loaded according to my Library files, where before I would see them when I checked.

The bug has been filed and is being actively worked on (previously reported hereFlash Player on Safari crashing with games).  I suspect updates will be posted to the other topic.  You can subscribe/follow the topic by clicking the '~Follow' link in the upper right.

As a workaround you can try using Google Chrome, which embeds Flash Player, or while not recommended, revert to the previous version, 22.0.0.209, available at Archived Adobe Flash Player versions.

It does not take much to cause the failure; when I load my home screen with all of the buildings, any time I hover over a building to use/upgrade it, the screen starts flashing bright white and then crashes; then the "plug in failure" notice; clicking on that notice does not do anything at all.    Here is a URL for my city; I don't think you will be able to log it.  Have to be a registered player:

I appreciate the apology.  We are aware of the issue.  It was reported a few days ago and is currently being worked on.  Any potential fix will land in our weekly beta first.  I suspect the other forum topic I linked to will be updated since this is currently a high profile issue.
