Pogo Bowling

Why are Adobe Flash-driven Pogo games being discontinued?  I represent a large number of Pogo Bowl players who are sad and angry that our game is being taken away.  In fact, out of 87 Pogo games, 41 will end in March, apparently because of this.  Was Pogo too cheap to pay whatever Adobe demanded?  Many thousands of us have been playing Pogo games for decades, and Pogo Bowl is definitely a favorite.  Why is this happening?
