There is a game that started to be popular on Facebook called Wild Ones. If you ever played Worms then you know the concept. But that's fine. The problem is that execution of the game hogs the CPU to the max. Okay I don't have the latest cutting edge hardware in my biz laptop and on my home desktop but seriously guys where is the catch?

If the problem is in unoptimised Flash player then get to work and optimise it because CPU hoging will in the end make people to turn away to alternatives and for such a vital software to Adobe that would be a stupid move.

If the problem is in the way people program for Flash then Adobve should be interested to help project that get so much exposure.

I'm a developer myself and I know that nothing is perfect in the silicon world but yeah you brought video to Internet surfers but origins of Flash have so much more potential then just to serve the Holywood people.

Or am I misunderstanding the whole concept of Flash player and it's platform?

There's a HI / LO button at the top of the game that turns down the quality in favor of higher frame rate. Unfortunately, you're not going to get the performance of a compiled language from Flash at this time, but what you gain is the ability to run your program in any browser on any platform. Can't wait to see what improvements Adobe will make to Flash in the future.
