Powerpoint 2010 requires me to download the latest flash player in order to play embedded videos from youtube, however I've installed it already and I continue to see the error message and the video won't play. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I might solve this?

I've tried the latest suggestion at the craigstechblog link and this will no longer work either.  Has anyone had any success getting a YouTube video to play in PowerPoint 2010?

Someone in a different topic claimed to have gotten it to work by replacing version=3 with version=2

Assuming that you are on Windows, did you install the Flash Player ActiveX or plugin?

I'm not sure what Powerpoint uses; I suggest that you also install the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer) from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
