Pressing esc on flash player does not exit full screen any longer

I am running windows 7 64 bit, and now when I go into full screen mode I can no longer hit esc to exit back to regular viewing. I remember I accidentally right clicked and selected global settings from the options menu, but did not select anything and closed that window immediately. It's been happening since then so I must have done something at that time.

All the googling I've done comes back with problems about the "Hit esc to exit fullscreen mode" message not going away so I haven't found much about my problem, can anyone help me out?

E: Should mention I have 10,3,181,34 installed and am using FF5.

Hi, You could try F11 or alt+tab. Alt+tab will open another window and then perhaps the one with full screen can be exited.

Not sure on that last one, but worth a try. I don't know why esc wouldn't work but I don't think any of the Global Settings Panels would have anything to do with it.

    Thanks,

Alt-tabbing out and then back in allowed me to use esc, not sure why but thanks!

Hopefully it was just a glitch and esc will work from now on.

Thanks Rheves, glad that did it!!
