Alright.... I updated my flash player on my computer and now when I open certain websites that use flash player I am unable to do anything on the website, which is VERY FUSTRATING, because I need flash player to do school work. I have tried resetting firefox and uninstalling and reinstalling flash player and restarting my computer with no success. Any help is greatly appreciated. My computer is a windows 8 computer also. When I try to go on certain websites that use flash player it brings up a black screen.

    In Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+A to access yout Add-ons page.

    Check the Plugins tab to see that Flash Player in indeed installed, enabled and Always Activated
