I am using MacBook Air (Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.1), Safari web browser, download and install Flash Player new version.

I have download Flash Player then follow the next instruction at the end clic install, then show up the text as follow :

Install Adobe Flash Player is trying to install a new helper tool. enter your password to allow this.

                                              User name :

                                               Password  :

The above user name is automatically fill up already with my name then I fill up my MacBook password, when I clic OK it does not work, as if my name or password are not correct, I have tried many times but still not success.

Thank you in advance if some one who can help me to resolve my problem.

Paul

    Hi,

It is your system's username and password that you need to enter.

See What userid & password do I need to install Flash Player? for assistance.

    Thanks!

This prompt comes from your Mac and wants your Mac username and password. Adobe don't see or check the password, the Mac does it all.DON'T use your Adobe ID. I just use the same password with which I login.
