Problems Installing Adobe Macromedia Player 9

I'm trying to update macromedia flash in my computer, but I cannot go farther than accepting the terms of the service. I click on download, then another screen shows saying it will take around 2 minutes, but download never starts. I don't have the "gold bar at the top of the browser" blocking the download.
What can I do?

I am having the same problem of not being able to download the program. When I click install Adobe Flash player the time bar at the bottom moves then refreshes then nothing. I followed the help on the website and still couldn't get the player to download.

I'm going to say you have some security settings blocking the download.. What browser/OS are you using?

The reason they couldn't help you is because there is no phone support or customer service for Flash Player. It's support avenues are either using this forum or opening a support case via http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer.

You most likely have a permissions problem, which we write about a lot here on the forum and are attempting to solve permanently.

I'm going to have someone open a support case and mail you for more info...
