Problems removing adobe flash player from system with windows 7

Hallo,

Vriendelijke groeten,

Hello,

I got a message to remove Adobe Flash Player from my computer since it is no longer supported.

I did so with the link in the message.

But now when my computer goes into sleep mode, I have a problem because I got an empty screen. When I push enter, I get a message:

When I push 'activate (activeren)' nothing happens, pushing 'again (opnieuw)' also nothing happens.

My computer runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

Can you help me to solve this problem ?

Probably adobe flash player isn't completely removed ? But I don't see it anymore in 'Programs'.

Kind regards,

Theo Steenhuyzen

I don't have an exact date, but, per https://www.chromium.org/flash-roadmap, it'll be sometime this month.

When Flash Player uninstall is initiated from the Uninstall pop-up notification, the unistall happens silently in the background.  It may appear as if nothing is happening, but the uninstall is happening.

Note that Adobe's uninstaller doesn't remove browser-embedded versions of Flash Player.  If you have Chrome installed, the embedded Flash Player PPAPI plugin remains embedded.  Google will deprecate Flash Player support, and remove the embedded version of Flash Player, with the release of Chrome 88.

So, if I understand it right, I have to wait until Chrome 88 is released and the problem will be solved then ? Do you have any idea when this new version of Chrome should be released ?
