Problems w/ FP 10.3? What do i DO?

My problem started about 3 weeks ago when upgraded to new version of FP (10.3). Videos were not in the correct spot, they w

ere up in the left corner and flashing. Ads were flashing just all over the place, often right in the way of what were trying to do. So, I un-installed FP. Then I tried to re-install, and had the same problem, so un-installed again. Since you have to have it for many sites that we visit, I tried to re-install it. But now it doesn't work at all. It shows Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X in my list of programs. But when I go to sites that need it, they always say that I need to download FP. And so I try. I have installed, uninstalled, downloaded so many times, I have lost count. I've updated drivers. I've tried both the 32 bit & 64 bit. (I have windows 7 64, IE9). I have restored my computer to previous state. I have checked the "use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" in tools. I did the troubleshoot to go in and get the "DxDiag" report, which said it found no problem. And nothing is working. Now I have a brand new computer and Flash Player isn't working and it's very frustrating.

What more can I do?????

Help Please!

(And for the record, I apologize for apparently going about this in the wrong way last night. It just sounds like veryone is having pretty much the same basic problem with this new version of FP)

Hi, ok thanks. Using IE, go to Tools, Manage addons and under "Show"(light text) look in the categories for Shockwave Flash Object. Is it Installed and Enabled?

Hi, I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time. Let's assume for a moment that Flash Player is Installed correctly.

I don’t know if anyone has suggested this or not but what I did to make Flash 10.3 work on my IE9 (32 bit on a 64bit Windows 7) was to click on the gear icon, then click on “internet options”, then “advanced”, then finally check “use software rendering instead of GPU rendering” finally you must close IE9 for the settings to work.

If that doesn't help, then we'll need to check to make sure FP is Installed correctly.

    Let me know,
