If Chris' suggestion above does not work, I'm afrain you will have to go through the procedure in http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/494/cpsid_49419.html

Let us know if you need any help with that.

Did you get any error message when you ran SubInACL?

There was a case earlier this year when the same thing also happened; it seems there may be one more registry key that needs to change the permissions.

How well versed are you technically?  (You seem quite good to me, having ran the SubInACL procedure.)

Can you download, install, and run Process Monitor?

Once it is running, start the installer from the link that Chris gave you.

Use Task Manager to check the process id of the installer, then set Process Monitor to filter all but the Flash Player installer.

Now click the Install button on the installer, and watch Process Monitor; it should give you the registry key(s) that produce the error.

Could you give the installers listed on this FAQ a try and let me know if they work for you?

Where can I find direct downloads of Flash Player for Windows or Macintosh?

    Thanks,

    Chris
