Problems with installation of FP v10, DLM crash

Hello,as the title says, I am unable to install the most recent Flash Player version due to the Adobe Getplusplus download manager crashing prior to the install.I have gotten to the point with the DLM installed and am trying to get it to install the player to no avail. I am getting the following error message:"getPlusPlus_ado.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created."I do not know where to find the error log.I am using the following setup:http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:X31 with 1.5GHz / 256 MB RAMWindows 2000 Professional SP 4 with the roll-up 1 installedFirefox 3.6 and IE v6Thank you for your help.

Try the following:download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html (save to disk);download the offline installersfor Internet Explorer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe (save to disk);for Firefox and other browsers http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe (save to disk);close all browser windows, then run the downloaded uninstaller, followed by the installers.
