Problems with using Flash Player

Hello. I have operating system Windows 8.1 (64-bit) and Mozilla Firefox the latest version. I have a problem with Flash Player: not only that, it constantly crashes, and video playback often appears the message: "there was a crash of Flash Player plugin". Besides, often there is a message: "it Seems that the Shockwave plugin is not responding", and the Internet connection hangs. Tell me, please: when, finally, this issue will be corrected? And will the finally version of Flash Player protected from crashes and instability?
