i'm using a pc. i want to install the new version, so first i run the uninstaller for the old version. but first i have to close opera(which i use) and internet explorer. but internet explorer isn't running. so, how do i fix this?

It's possible that an IE process is still running in the background. Open Task Manager, select to view processes for all users, and look for an Internet Explorer process, or FlashUtil exe process. If either of these are present terminate the process(es).
