prompted to reinstall

Can someone please help me, I am using chrome and trying to open a file, it is prompting me to reinstall AFP everytime i try and open it, then when i reinstall the program the file still does not open. There is nothing wrong with the file as I opened it the other day(just by luck).

When i try and open the file in explorer it says AFP if disabled, i follow the instructions and everything seems to be right. It is driving me mad, I am open to any suggestions please.
