Quality of video deteriorates after time

I am using Edge.  I am streaming sports with Comcast in Flash.  In the beginning, its perfect.  Then it gets worse and worse, little by little.  After about 6 or 7 minutes, the video is unwatchable (blocky, choppy, etc.).  Any solutions out there?  Thanks
