Questions on Flash Player

I just installed/upgraded Adobe Flash Player [version number required], and, even though I had to use the Task Manager to close Google Chrome, I am not sure how to confirm that:

a) this would work on all browsers.

b) security vulnerabilities are managed, luckily there is a list of advisories at https://helpx.adobe.com/security.html.

c) why seo marketing agents complain about flash.

see https://moz.com/blog/flash-and-seo-compelling-reasons-why-search-engines-flash-still-dont-mix.

What if I had a different tablet or device, would flash still run and have all social media been tested?

I branched your post to a new topic as it's not relevant to the topic you posted to.

    Different browsers support different plugins:

    • Chrome and chromium-based browsers support PPAPI Plugin
    • Firefox and Safari support NPAPI plugin
    • IE/Edge support ActiveX Control

These are not interchangeable. If you use these various browsers you will need to install the appropriate plugin for each.

As long as you have the latest version of Flash Player installed (currently 25.0.0.127 you're protected.  To find out the latest version, please see Adobe - Flash Player .  The best way to ensure you always have the latest version is to opt into background updates when you install Flash Player.  The update option is listed as 'Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended).

Flash Player is not supported on mobile devices (e.g. Android, Blackberry, iOS, Windows Phone, etc).  Please see Tech specs | Adobe Flash Player for supported platforms.

I'm not sure what your question 'have all social media been tested' infers.
