Hello, I understand what you are saying and agree it may be easier Each time Adobe updates Flash Player there are Security issues that are included and users want to have those Installed to help protect their computers. There are also other Technology changes and these sometimes cause a problem.

Turning off the hardware acceleration is one of those, since it is turned on by default. This was in the 10.1 version also.

Also sometimes what may cause a problem is some websites aren't ready for a new version of Flash Player.

Some users, like yourself have done that. Uninstalled and Installed the vs 10.1.

Thank you for expressing your opinion and what worked for you:-)

    Hallo too,

I'm actually very curious, why 10.2 version don't work on my n.book,i tried everything as far i can do to be able to use this version, but always fail to do.I really hope that adobe team will soon come up with new version which is much more "user friendly" for us as users. With this 10.1 version, i can install without deactivate security system (securuty essentials in my case) and nothing to do with hardware acelleration.Hopefully this method can help some users which experience problem with new updates, while waiting newer update from adobe team.I appreciate your effort to help other users with their problems. But still i am courious what is the real problem....LOL

Hello again, If you tried to Install the latest version (10.2), maybe some step was overlooked. Microsoft Security Essentials I like, no addons in the browser:-)

With so many changes that were made with this new version it is difficult to say. I don't think it is just one thing. Sometimes it's more than one. I think some of the websites need time to update too, so maybe that is part of it.

This latest Flash Player update just came out on 2/8/11 so when another will come out I have no idea.

If 10.1 is working for you then you may want to use that. You can try an Uninstall/Install if you would like to try the latest version.

Let me know if you want to try that and I can give you a simple way to do it. If not, you can keep the 10.1 and wait until an update comes out.

    Thanks,
