What are the necessary firewall filter rules for selected macromedia flash update notifications

(Flash Global Settings Panel) to work?

In-, outbound?

Protocol?

Ports?

    As far as I know we've never documented (or required) any specific firewall/port settings for autoupdate.

    Pretty much all the public information about it is in here:

    I mean here, update notifications are allowed.

    User working as administrator.

    Anyhow, no notifications are coming.

    Firewall is active, it blocks all undefined traffic.

    Most probably the traffic produced by flash player update notifications are placed as well.

    In order to get them working, this traffic must be enabled on firewall.

    It would be helpful to have appropriate instructions in players web.

    Come on, Adobe's stuff is so uptight that they don't even know what ports their own software uses. Just give them a break.
