Question

Restoring Deleted Flash Cache

Hello, folks!

A gut-wrencher that is a minor problem in the big scheme of things:

I'm running the latest version of Flash on a laptop with Windows 7 in Italian.

Somehow I ended up on the Flash website and deleted the full contents from all websites -- because the displayed language was in Italian.

While there's nothing in the Recycle Bin, I would like to ask: Is there a temp folder of some kind where I can go, or some other way to restore my deleted cache?

I've been working on a game for months now on Kongregate.com, a long and laborious ordeal.  Months worth of progress is now vanished.  I'd really like to think that these files -- this Kongregate folder -- is still sitting around somewhere on my computer in some form.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Deleting the Flash Player cache is not like deleting files; it deletes contents from a file - not the file itself - so it will not go to the recycle bin.

The only option to restore it is to restore from a full backup, if you have one.  (System Restore will not do that, as it restores only system files.  The Flash Player cache is a user file.)
