Hi i noticed that some stites are not retrocompatible with the new (10) version, is this a flash player fault?
For example one of my favorites, the Zero 7 website ask me to install flash player, but i've tried with the (9) version and it works? Thanks in advance.

This is not a player problem. This is a problem with the site owner's Flash Player detection code. A lot of the javascript code that folks used to use will see Flash Player 10 as being a lower version number than 9, and tell you that you need to update. This is something they'll need to update..

Our official line as of this week is that folks should be using SWFObject for all their Flash Player detection ( http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/)

We've been blogging about it and trying to prepare folks for it, but we still have some work to do on this point. Technotes will be updated this week to highlight SWFObject over the FPDetection Kit, for example.

So, it'll take awhile for the world to get their detection fixed, unfortunately. But it'll improve as we spread the word.
