Screen goes toblack

I have been playing solitaire blitz on facebook and as often as twice a day in the middle of a game the game screen goes to black. If I have youtube in the background going it goes black as well.  The only way to get everything working again is to restart my computer.    I am running Windows 8.1.   Chrome  Version 37.0.2062.103 m     my flash version is 14.0.0.177 .
