Question

SCUP Udates for flash not required??

I have updated my SCUP catalog and have published the newest Flash player update (18.0.0.194). The problem I am seeing is that the majority of our machines (Windows 7 32 and 64) are showing that the update is not required. The update has installed only on a fraction of machines it has been deployed to. Running a query shows that we have in our environment, Flash Active x from 12 - 18. Should the machines pick up this update and install it on anything not 18.0.0.194??

    Hi Ted,

What version of Flash is on the majority of the machines that weren't updated by SCCM?  Do you lock down your clients so that they are not allowed to update Flash Player on their own (via Flash's auto update service)?

    Thanks,

    Chris

It does look like a majority of the 18.0.0.160s were upgraded but not all of them. My own machine is still running 160. I got prompted this morning from Flash it needs an upgrade, of course I would like to be getting the patches from SCCM as designed.
