This issue has been resolved.

Also, the file name is incorrect.  It should be http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/linux/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml

404 means the server is UP, but the file has gone away...

I know what 404 means.  That file should always be there.  It's the official location for downloading Linux RPMs for Adobe Reader.  If you had bothered checking, you'll see that the server isn't serving ANY files.  If the web server isn't serving any files the server is, in-effect, down, even if it returns 404.

If you don't work for Adobe you probably shouldn't be answering this question.
