Whenever I'm in Facebook, or working with on-line graphics programs, the screen will freeze and I will get a message that the "Shockwave plug-in is not responding. Do you want to stop the plug-in?" If I say yes, the next message is "Shockwave has crashed" and I have to reload. If I say no, the screen just stays frozen. I've checked to see if there are two versions running - there is only one: This is the plug-in info:
Adobe Flash Player - Version: 14.0.0.145
| Description: | Shockwave Flash 14.0 r0 |
| Location: | C:\Users\Leah\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperFlash\14.0.0.145\pepflashplayer.dll |
| Type: | PPAPI (out-of-process) |
| MIME types: | | application/x-shockwave-flash | Shockwave Flash | | | application/futuresplash | Shockwave Flash | |
|
I've checked for viruses - the computer is clean. I'm running Windows 8.1. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.
