Shockwave flash not responding in new Windows 10 upgrade

My title is self explanatory I hope. Since my computer was recently involuntarily assaulted by windows 10 upgrades I can not get any online video. I can play vids already on my PC, but youtube/netflix or anything else doesn't work. I reinstalled Shockwave, reinstalled Chrome.....nothing works. Would be so grateful for any advice.

Thank you for you kind response. Unfortunately this is not a solution as I use Chrome. In any event, online video is also not working using Microsoft Edge, wherein the Flash Player is enabled.

When you say you re-installed Shockwave, are you referring to Shockwave Player (used to play Adobe Director videos) or Flash Player?  What browser besides Chrome do you use?  Chrome and IE/Edge all embed Flash Player so there is nothing to install.

What happens when you try to view Flash content on Chrome?  Is there an error message?  If so, what is it?
