My computer keeps freezing after I see this notice at the top of my screen. What can I do? Thanks.

You get this when doing what? Is there anything else, or just "SHOCKWAVE FLASH PLAYER"?

It usually comes up when I am on my home page....it will say something like can't load shockwave flash player, and asks if you want to stop it. A short time later it will pop up and say it has crashed. Right before and after these pop up my computer freezes. Sometimes it will be a few hours before I can use it properly again. Thank you for responding, Pat. I've had a few friends that are computer wizards look at it and they can't figure it out....
