Since installing the new El Capitan IOX, web-based webcams cannot be played due to the PPAPI Plug In being omitted. I have downloaded it three times and fully uninstalled and reinstalled ABODE Flash Player to find that plug-in still missing and unable to operate correctly. Can Adobe please help in this regard?

I am using Firefox. I have also followed Adobe's suggested procedures in checking that Shockwave is 'always enacted', etc

Since you're using Firefox you'll need to install the NPAPI plugin. The PPAPI plugin is not compatible with Firefox. PPAPI plugin is for chromium-based browsers such as Opera. The NPAPI plugin is for Firefox and Safari.
