Since recent update, Adobe Flash Player no longer works.

Help please. Recently I received notification of updated version, latest version of Adobe Flash Player for my MacBook Pro with OS X version 10.6.8.

Flash Player was working and active prior to this update. Since downloading the update, anything requiring Flash Player just puts up a blank screen.

What to do.

So far I have uninstalled Flash Player and reinstalled, but this has made no difference.

No not Windows 7. I am on a Mac. Using Apple, Apple, Apple. This includes Safari.
