Software won't run due to an action script error?

I have Adobe 10 installed on Windows 8.1. I recently installed a typing instructor software on my computer for my daughter. Initially the games worked great. But now I'm getting a pop up box that says Action Script Error and the game freezes. What could be the cause of this?
