Sound does not work in any version of Flash Projector on my PC?

I use Adobe Flash projector to play an online game. It has been a continual problem on my Windows 7 laptop that sound does not work for the game at all when I use Flash projector. This happens across every version of Flash projector that I've tried using (Currently using 26, but does not work on other versions such as 18 or 24). This seems to be a problem with my laptop only, as sound works for the game using Flash projector on other computers I play on.

I have made sure in game sound is on, my speakers and headphones are working fine, video and system sound is working fine, and sound for Flash projector is turned on in the Volume Mixer. This is a strange problem which I would love to be able to fix.

Any fixes or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
