Sound is cut off after 2-3 seconds.

It is a Windows 7, 64-bits.

HP laptop (Pavillion dv6)

Sound card: ATI High Definition Audio Device

Flash player version: the current version (25th october 2011).

Problem: In flash media the sound is cut off after 2-3 seconds and never comes back. Images in the video keeps going normally.

How I usually solve it: I get the sound to come back if I refresh the page, and after 1-7 tries of refreshing the page then the sound works fine. If it passes the threshhold of 2-3 seconds then the sound always works fine. And videos I pick after the first clip always work fine - for example on youtube.

Where: The problem occurs with all browsers. It is less frequent on Chrome (begins to work more often after refreshing page) but happens with all browsers. And it only is a problem with flash media. Sound with windows player, audacity and other sound devices work just fine.

Is this problem specific to any flash videos, like youtube video, or only happen to specific websits?

Can you provide a testing URL that can help us reproduce the problem?

It happens with all flash videos. You can pick any flash video URL yourself, since it happens everywhere. An additional problem has started to happen since I posted this. Before, as I said, once the initial bump had been overcome the videos worked just fine, for any videos I wanted to see at the same site. A new site would start with this problem, but once the problem had been fixed in the first video then the other vidoes on the same site/page worked fine. This is no longer the case. Now the video stops in random places for different videos (but always at the same place with the same video). The images stops, sound stops AND the download stops (at least the progress bar stops). The rest of the internet works just fine when this happens (that is: my connection is not cut in any way). What I have done since I post the first post is to clean out flash player completely and then re-installed it. The problem with sound cut off is still there, but now this additional problem has started to happen.
