Sound playback issues with Flash Player 11.4.402.265

I recently installed the latest verstion of Flash, only to be forced to rollback to 11.2.202.235, as it is the only version that allows me to have proper audio over all my speakers. I had to rollback when updating to 11.3 as well due to staticy audio. This time it is just not utilizing all the channels of my speakers.  11.2 is the only version that seems to work properly with Firefox and videos. I would obviously prefer updating to the current version for security reasons, but I am not going to sacrifice audio quality to do it.

I am currently running Firefox 15 and Windows 7 64-bit. Sound DOES work properly on IE8, but that is not the browser I use.

Any help would be appreciated.

    With 11.2, do you ever get proper surround decoding?  If so, can you point me to content that I can hear?
