Sporadic CPU Jumps/Lags

Hi All,

My rig: Windows 7 32 and 64 bit. C2D 2.1 GHZ, 3 GB RAM, Nvidia 9400M. Latest 10.1 update.

I'm getting VERY frustrated with the new adobe 10.1 update. I've been using the Beta for quite sometime without a hitch, but now all flash videos have play with sporadic lags/cpu jumps. Without hardware acceleration, the CPU will hover around 40-50%, and all of a sudden jump to 100% every minute or so. This will cause video to completely lag for a good 30 seconds, and then the CPU will go back down to 40-50%. Same thing happens when hardware acceleration is disabled, except that the CPU will hover around 60-70% then jump to 100%.

I've tried: updating my graphics driver, downgrading my graphics driver, enabling/disabling hardware acceleration, reinstalling flash. I even created a new 32 bit windows partition on my harddrive to see if there was something else involved.

Can anybody help with this request? If not, can you please provide me with a link to download older flash versions?
