I've had this problem -- unable to view online videos (such as Youtube and Hulu) on Internet Explorer, and have tried many, many potential solutions that Adobe support and users on various sites have recommended (uninstalling Flash, reinstalling, trying IE 7 and 8 Beta, using Microsoft's SubInACL, etc.). I would like to try le103433's solution but have a question -- probably a dumb one, but a question nonetheless:
How do I configure Windows Firewall to allow an exception for Flash? This solution says to allow adobe.com, but isn't the Firewall exception feature for a program (rather than a URL)? If I'm supposed to allow Flash, which exe would that be, and in which directory would I find it?
