Storage Settings Panel is missing

I went to clear my flash but the whole panel is missing, there was a box that said:

This content requires Flash

Download the free Flash Player now!

Get Adobe Flash Player

But I already have it installed.  I use a Chromebook that updates regularly.  I went to the Adobe help/FAQ page and was able to confirm it.  I went to the plug-in settings and disabled Adobe and then re-enabled it, still no luck.  Can anyone help me?  I use the Chrome browser on my Chromebook, I don't know what version it is, made by hp and I got it about 2 years ago.  The version of Adobe is:

Version: 22.0.0.209-r1

Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Thanks!  - Mary

There is no native control panel for Flash Player on Chromebook.  Flash Player is a built-in component of Chrome.  There's nothing separate to install or manage.

Is it a specific site that you're unable to access, or all sites?

As an example, do you see animation on simple Flash sites like this: http://www.homestarrunner.com

What version of Chrome are you using?

Thanks for your reply, I don't know how but now I am able to see it and change the settings.  I don't know what version of chrome I have, I assume it's the most recent because it's constantly updated.  Yes, I see the animation on that website.  Again, thanks!
