Hey all

So - I went to a site I go to everyday and for some reason today it wouldnt let me stream from it. I checked a few other sites that i pay for to watch movies and they also wouldn;t work. Keeps saying Flash is not up to date.

My research found that with this latest Chrome, you dont have to update Flash, it does it for you. Also when I got to chrome://plugins/ and select Flash - there is no option to ENABLE or DISABLE - just ALWAYS ALLOW TO RUN

Here are my details

MAC OSX 10.11.6

CHROME - says its up to date

When I go to my Advanced Settings/PRIVACY/CONTENT SETTINGS - it says my FLASH is not up to date

Ive gone through all the forums and lists on how to instal and now Im in a circle

What am I missing? I thought with the updated Chrome, this would be a moot point?

Only other info is I recently tried a VPN service which may have changed some of my settings

Please Help!!!!

Thank you

Yeah, this is an intentional Chrome change, and part of their Prefer HTML5 by Default feature.  If you're unhappy with the new behavior, you should definitely let Google know about it.

In terms of solving the immediate problem, did you try checking "Always Allow To Run"?  It worked for me when I tried it last week.
