System indicates Flash Player after installation indicates it has been successfully installed.

I have installed and uninstalled Flash Player 20 a number of times but when I "Check if Flash Player is installed on your computer" it indicates it is not installed.  I have checked IE Manage Add ons and it shows as being enabled.  It was working fine until the last update about a month ago.  What else can I try to get it to work?
