Question

The flash distribution site does not have the current version 11.5.502.146, can this be updated?

I have been having ongoing issues with the distribution site for Flash where the current version is often not available.  When you download the msi and try to install it, it is an older version and not the current one as listed.

The current version has been out for a few weeks now and the actual file is still not updated.

i have tried clearning my cache and have even tried from different networks and locations and get the same result.

Can you please update this asap.

I see this same issue after almost every Flash Player release, and it seems that most of the time a cached version (somewhere on the corporate network) is "downloaded".

If you cannot find where that old version is coming from, you can obtain the latest MSI installers from the archives at http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

P.S. I wish Adobe would also put the version number onto the distribution download site, same as in the archives; that would avoid the problems with cached installers.

I just downloaded all four Windows installers (install_flash_player_11_active_x.exe, install_flash_player_11_active_x.msi, install_flash_player_11_plugin.exe, install_flash_player_11_plugin.msi) from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html and all had a digital signature dated December 18, 2012 - meaning they are all version 11.5.502.146.
