Hi,

I hear the official Adobe flash technology no long support for android mobile and cannot download the Flash Player from "Play Store", however I find the URL to manual download apk package.

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.102.59/install_flash_player.apk

1. Is this package official link by Adobe?

2. Support end user using this URL to manaul install Flash Player on Android mobile device ?

3. Any License Agreement reference support end user manual install, if they must need Flash Player on mobile device.

4. How about ongoing technology is "Adobe AIR"? If  Flash Player no long support for Android?

Please kindly reply the above question. Thanks a lot.

Have you tried that apk download? If so does it work?

@LegCoITO - For background on our position with Android please see this post: http://www.mikechambers.com/blog/2011/11/11/clarifications-on-flash-player-for-mobile-browsers-the-flash-platform-and-the-future-of-flash/

    For your other questions,

    1. This is an Adobe link.  You can find all of the apk's that we host here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html.  In addition, please see this FAQ where we describe the process of installing this player on a supported device.

How do I manually install Flash Player on my Android device?

    2. Other than the FAQ provided above, there is no support that I know of for installing this APK.  Please see our disclaimer on the Archive page: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html#main_Disclaimers

    3. I do not know of a separate EULA for the archived APK's.

    4. AIR is absolutely still supported and development is ongoing.  Please see Mike's blog post for details along with the Flash runtime roadmap located here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplatform/whitepapers/roadmap.html

    Hope this helps,

    Chris

    Hi,

Any comment for the above issues?

By the way, we are currently using FMS4.5 to provide LIVE streaming to iOS and Android devices. However, flash player was no longer available for download in PLAY store for Android. Can Adobe provide any suggestion for us (actually, for all companies using FMS to do live streaming to Android) so that new Android users (e.g. using new mobile Galaxy Note2) can view the live streaming from FMS.

Thank you so much for your help.

    Regards,
