Welcome to the Adobe Forums.

To better assist you with this issue we need to know:

What is your operating system? (Windows or Mac) (XP, Vista, 7, 8)

What browser do you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari)

Are you seeing any error messages?

Can you provide screenshots of the error messages (if applicable)?

I'm having problems, too, and this is my first time using a forum, so forgive me if I'm not following protocol.

I'm using Windows 7 (64-bit) and Internet Explorer 10. I've made sure that the Adobe Shockwave Flash Object is Enabled in Manage Add-Ons. Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX is confirmed as a program in the Control Panel. I also just updated Java to make sure I have the most current version.  When I click on a video (e.g., in Facebook), I receive a message stating, "Flash Player Upgrade Required."  I don't know what else to try--any suggestions C.F. McBlob?

Uninstall Flash Player from your Control Panel.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the appropriate link and selecting "Save target as" (IE) or "Save Link as" (Firefox).

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

Save the installer(s) to yoru downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.

Reboot your system.

BEFORE you open anything else, locate and run the installer(s).

If you use IE, see: Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer  and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer  to ensure it's not being blocked.
