Trouble uninstalling Flash Player 11 Incubator

I'm trying to uninstall the incubator build and get a debugging version of 10.2 installed.

I downloaded the incubator uninstaller and ran it.

I launched a Flex app to confirm that Flash was removed (from both Safari and Firfox).

I closed all browsers and ran the installer for 10.2 debug.

I launched my Flex app and the Incubator build is back.

How do I manually remove Incubator?

    I finally got it uninstalled by first disabling Flash player in Chrome before running the uninstaller.  I had been closing all browsers before running the uninstaller, but that wasn't enough in this case.

    Hi, Hmmm, that's interesting. I had not given that a thot. So just closing all browser windows is not enough when Chrome is Installed? Since Chrome has FP embedded it must be running. I had heard that FP in Chrome could not be disabled, but that didn't make sense, since you can disable the plugin. Is that what you did? Or perhaps from the Task Manager?

    Adobe is certainly busy these days, it's all I can do is try to keep up with the current/updated shipped versions/Square/10.3 beta etc. Incubator..:-)

    So was the Flash files for FP11 in the system32/or 64bit location?

    Let me know if you have time. Will be helpful to me then next time I see a brave soul with FP11, LOL

    In Chrome, you type about:plugins in the address bar and click on the details link in the top right to see what versions of the Flash plugin are available.  I disabled the 10.2 production release version there and closed Chrome before I ran the incubtor build's uninstaller. That did the trick.  Just having all browsers closed wasn't enough for some reason.

    I'm on a Mac, so your system32 question does not apply

    You should try out FP11 Incubator and checkout the Molehill 3D examples.  Very cool stuff.

    Hi, thanks. Downloading and SAVING the Uninstaller for FP 11 and then closing all browser windows, followed by a reboot should have worked. I don't know about Flex or confirming whether it was Uninstalled in Safari or FF.

    I would run it again and check your System32 or SysWOW64 Files to make sure it has Uninstalled, assuming that is where it Installed into. Do that before trying to Install 10.2
